Good value, simple style, well made of inexpensive material. I gave it a shot of Scotchguard, just a bit on top to make the rain run off. Size is fine for my 7 3/8, maybe a little snug for some but I'm often out in the wind. Exactly as advertised and it came within 24 hours.

This hat has a crown-frame underneath it so that it sits ON TOP of your head, allowing the heat to escape. Nice soft leather chin strap keeps it place (most are uncomfortable nylon). The straw is tightly weaved (no water leaks in); note the straw ring that travels around the rim, this not only makes it look better than those coolies that just have the jagged edged straw finishing but, it also works to channel water out of your face and not on it! Ive used the hat on the beach, gardening, but mostly to wear on my long summer day runs...its flawless!

Its July 2011..and my coolie is still keeping me cool and looking cool. In perfect condition btw. This has been one of those buys that turned out to be a true value..knowing what I know now I would have paid an extra 25to35% over what I did pay for it!!!
