Striking elegant details craft this cotton flag hat with star embroidery on the bill into a patriotic work of art. Made of high quality, heavy duty cotton, the crown is constructed out of 6 panels of rich navy fabric with air vents to form the classic round shape of a baseball cap with strips of red and white fabric to create the stripes that start at the sides and form the back of the crown. The front of the crown is decorated with a large raised USA embroidery in deep red with white outline, giving the front a 3 dimensional graphic. The bill is curved and 3" long to provide generous protection from the elements with 3 rows of white stars embroidered onto both sides of the navy fabric covering the bill. The inside of the hat is lined with a double layered cotton hatband for comfortable wear and the back of the hat is outfitted with a cotton strap that can be easily adjusted with the attached metal details for a perfect secure fit.

I had been looking for a good cap to wear when walking around town and when doing yardwork, and this cap does the job! It looks very nice, and is well-made. The letters and stars are embroidered, and the stripes are made of different pieces of fabric, not just a design. It has a sweatband in the front, and an adjustable back. I previously bought a cap from my college, and it was a bit too small for my head (the actual "bowl" of the hat, not the outside brim); however, this cap is of good size, and should fit those of you who have larger heads (the way I do!).

Bottom line, this cap will protect your face from the sun, and show your patriotism as well! Very good value for the money, given the quality.
