I have a friend who wears hats when he works outside and baseball caps are nice, but don't always give you good protection from the sun, let alone look stylish. I decided to buy this hat for him and it was a hit! The hat is great looking...from the tea stained straw which has a nice color variation to the beaded band. Being straw, it allows air to circulate so it keeps his head cool. The shape of it also not only keeps the sun off the top of his head, but his face and neck get better protection. It is lightweight, but not flimsy, and has a nice shape to it. When my friend's wife saw the hat, she not only liked it on him, she wanted one for herself...they now have matching hats and not only wear them when working in the yard, but when they "step out"!
