I'm surprised to see these listed as an item to be worn, essentially as a bandanna. The hat band is a "ribbon or band placed about the crown of a hat, just above the brim", and used as a decorative or symbolic embellishment.

Anyone with a little time and not much ingenuity could make one of these with an inexpensive strip of fabric, material from a used garment, an old tie, scarf or ribbon, some fabric glue or hot-glue or velcro.

These may be a bit overpriced, IMO.
