The large ribbed knit on the crown gives this hat its distinctive slinky look, giving it accordion like stretch ability. The deep crown will form itself perfectly to the shape of your head; and you can pull the crown up or give it some slouch to suit your taste. The 2" brim is made of stitched together rows of thicker, tighter knit unlike the crown, to retain its shape. This is a very nice hat. I also have one in Black. It is very soft and they have hats for all seasons and occassions. Shipping was very fast and because of it, I will always order my hats from E4Hats.com
