I've been looking for a ball cap style cap for hiking for some time. Specifically, one that will allow me to cover my face and has a bill but is also very lightweight. This cap meets all my requirements. I was always getting burned on the back of my neck and cheeks. I'm not a fan of the huge broad brimmed hats, plus they are too heavy. I'm used to draping a bandana under my visor but this is a huge improvement. My only complaint is the color. I wish I had selected the darker Fossil color. The Khaki is not khaki it is green. Under the bill is very bright green. The material chosen, Supplex is very quick drying, Dip the entire hat in a cool stream and your set. The color bugs me but everything is is right on.
