The elastic band doen't look and feel like it has quality to it. I don't like the material of the hat either. It's thin but it feel cheap even though I like the style of it....Plus, the structre of the hat is not that great 'cause when I tried it, it looked more conical rather than rounded. It would look much better with rounded and form-fitted to the skull. With all of the flexible fitted hats, I wish there were smaller sizes 'cause the s-m sizes are made more toward the large size. My head is already large but when I tried the s-m, it still felt too loose. I like the flexible fitted hats better than the adjustables, but this one fitted is not good....:(
