I play a lot of tennis outdoors, and since I am very fair-skinned, this hat is most practical. I can use it for tennis even when I don't need the flaps to protect me from rhwn sun (for example, when I play inddors) because the flaps can be drawn in and the cap looks like an ordinary baseball-style hat. It looks good both ways. If anything. I would like the back flap to reach down even a bit further to protect my neck form the sun even when my shirt has pulled down so that some skin remains exposed even with the back flap down.
