I first bought this hat at a museum gift shop 3 years ago. It was perfect. Perfect brim width, perfect height, adjustable elastic on the inside, managed to look right with almost every single summer outfit I own. I wore it almost every day for 4 summers straight, and it held up beautifully…right up until I left it on an airplane last month. I assumed I’d never find another one quite like it; after all, I bought the original 3 years ago, and there are a gazillion “wide brim summer straw hat” search results on the internet. So imagine how far my jaw dropped when I spotted it here! And for a super reasonable price! I have been reunited with my perfect hat, and summer is saved!
(Be aware: the photos here make it look like the top of the hat is a curved dome shape. It’s not, really. When it’s on your head, it’s a flatter shape on top. More like a true gambler’s hat.)
Just what I was looking for, except it’s too big. I can wear it but it’s uncomfortable because too big.

This is my second order of this hat. It fits my husband well. The hats last unless my husband runs over them with the riding mower. He wasn't using the chin strap as he should have. Great hat. Good fit. Quick service.

Worried this hat was going to be too big but the XL fits just right. Craftsmanship seems excellent. No issues after several weeks of wear. Cool in the 95 degree heat we've had. Received several compliments from strangers admiring the hat. Great product.
The hat was a bit too large, however, upon inserting a foam band in the band it fitted just perfectly. It was precisely the hat I was looking for. Thank you so much. It was more a XXXl than a XXl. I love it.
I was very pleased with the 2 Veteran caps as well as the custom embroidery I requested. The only thing I would correct, is the custom embroidery I had done to the back strap, I wish they had started the embroidery a little more to the left, so that it would not interfere with me being able to adjust the back strap better for a better snug fit .
I have a number of this same model that I have had for years and they still look great. I bought the bronze color and it's just right!
It’s getting harder and harder to find fitted caps online and not have to pay exorbitant prices. I’m so glad I found your website. My husband works outdoors and wears a hat every day. He’s not a fan of the adjustable caps with the big plastic thing in the back. He loves these cotton military caps. We just bought two more!
